Police arrest duo arrested following Medway break-ins

TWO men have been charged with theft and attempted burglary after five cars and a house were broken into in one night in Medway.

Nathan Odgers and Shane Baker have been arrested by police investigating a number of break-ins around Medway on Monday night
Nathan Odgers, 27, and Shane Baker, 23, both from Maidstone Road, Chatham, were arrested during the early hours of Monday after officers were alerted to an attempted break-in at The Goldings in Gillingham.
On the same evening, five cars were also broken into all over the Medway area, say police, and it is alleged various items including a laptop, iPod and golf clubs were stolen.
Officers have remanded the duo in custody and they are due to appear in court on Tuesday.
