Beauty Training Courses in Kent at 118 Beauty in Rochester are a fantastic way to start a new career in the beauty industry. We offer short courses in acrylic nails, eyelash extensions and spray tanning, as well as NVQ Level 2 and 3. We offer a wide range of beauty and nail courses to enable those who are just embarking into the industry to gradually build up units, or for those already qualified who wish additional servicess to their portfolio. I am a qualified college lecturer with over 20 years working in the beauty industry, and over ten years teaching beauty and nails in higher education. Want to try something new? Our training courses are a brilliant way to learn a new skill, and even start a new career!
We also function as a beauty salon, offering a huge range of services at very competitive prices! We are located on Rochester High St, behind 'Don Vincenzo' and the City Wall Bar, with ample parking nearby.
NAILS
- NAIL ENHANCEMENTS: We use extremely high quality acrylic by Entity Nail Couture and are dedicated to preserving the health of your natural nails under the acrylic – we do not use drills; we file the acrylic by hand to ensure your nails are kept in good condition
- GEL POLISH - 'Colour couture' is very durable; no smudging, no chipping, it dries instantly, and lasts for two weeks!
- NAIL WRAPS: these fantastic nail wraps are the latest fashion! They come in many different colours and patterns, and can amplify any wardrobe!
PEDICURES
- We offer a 'Rainforest Pedicure' involving a soak, scrub and masque followed by nanotechnology lotion to revitalise your skin and relax you.
TANNING
- Our spray tans are very affordable, and leave you with a golden, natural looking tan. Get ready for the summer with a spray tan at 118 Beauty
- We also offer rub in tans, including a full body exfoliation and a fake bake rub in treatment
MASSAGE
- Including full body, back neck and shoulder, or Indian head massages
FACIALS
- Using exclusive 'Temple Spa' Products (only sold in spas and Harrods!), we have a few treatments including the 'express' facial for 30 minutes, or longer facials to rehydrate the skin, and leave it looking radiant and fresh. And it's very relaxing too!
PACKAGES
- We offer a number of beauty packages which combine different treatments including pedicures, manicures, waxing, facials, eyelash and eyebrow tints, and spray tans.

Fantastic Course and Service

I first came to 118 to have my beauty treatments done, and they are fantastic, very professional and the prices are soo afforable. Everytime i come in Claire and her team make me feel so comfortable and welcome. I recently got made redundant and panicked about what to do next but i thought about maybe turning to beauty and 118 offered this, and to be trained with claire was honour. I did the 4 day entity acrylic course, it was amazing value and it lasted over 4 weeks, i couldnt of got better training. Thank you claire

Absolutely Fantastic Course and Great Support Since

I have recently undertaken the Entity Liquid and Powder Acrylic Nails Course with Claire at 118 Beauty and Training. It was a 4 day course and after the first day we had already been taught how to do a nail!! this was fantastic because it meant I could go away until the next week and practice. We also learned how to do some basic nail art, and she has been extremely supportive of me - always at the other end of the phone, or there when i pop in for a question. I would thoroughly recommend training here - I plan to start NVQ level 2 soon and really get started with a new career as I build up clients!

The staff the treatments all to the highest stands I was very very pleased and made to feel comfortable at all times very important when you are a bit older!
I would recommend this saloon to anyone and have done.

I can't wait to get started

After coming into 118 beauty for the flabelos machine, I have been speaking to Claire about beauty training. I cannot wait to get started! She offers loads of different courses and I think her prices are very competitive. It's very excited to think I could be qualified in beauty win 6 months and able to start doing treatments and making money for myself. I should be starting within the next month or so and I'm so excited!

Flabelos weight loss vibrating plate in Rochester, Medway!

I have just started a course on the flabelos vibrating plate at 118 Rochester high street- the new beauty salon in the middle of Rochester. This machine is perfect for my busy lifestyle as I can just pop in four times a week and jump on for ten mins! Best of all it involves no sweat and tears like the gym and it's only 30 quid for the month so it's cheaper than the gym too! I will be in that bikini this summer! Give it a go!!!

I had my eyebrows waxed

I had my eyebrows waxed today at 118 Beauty in Rochester High St. Claire was very welcoming and kind and I was taken into the beauty room. She waxed my eyebrows for me - it was virtually painless and they look great! I didn't want too much hair taken away and she did them exactly like I asked her too. And best of all, I printed off a voucher so it only cost me £3.50 when i usually pay £8!!

I did an eyelash course back in November and have not looked back.it was only 1 day and has given me a new career.can't wait to learn some more things
