Medway stores of yesteryear remembered at forthcoming exhibition

MEDWAY'S shops are to be the focus of a new exhibition and talk at Medway Archives and Local Studies Centre.

These we have loved: Shops, stores and emporia of Medway will be held from Monday, November 19, to Tuesday January 29.
The exhibition looks at local shops and stores, with photographs, advertisements and the history of some of the area's best-loved stores including Leonards, Bates, Featherstones, the Lefevre stores and many others.
A talk titled Window shopping in Medway: Department stores remembered will take place on December 5 at 2.30pm.
The exhibition and talk are free to members of the public.
