Adam Ant is at the Cenral Theatre in September.
Every musical taste is catered for at Chatham's Central Theatre this autumn, with Adam Ant leading the way on September 8th.
The King of Pop in the early eighties, Adam and his Ants consistently figure in any list of 80s legends or pop music, with rocking tunes such as Ant Music and Stand and Deliver. This time around he's with the Good, the Mad and the Lovely Posse, at the Central Theatre on September 8th.
A Sensational 60s Experience follows on Sunday 30th September, featuring Herman's Hermits, The Tremeloes, The Union Gap and The Ivy League, which is hosted by Alan Mosca from Freddie and the Dreamers.
Soul influenced The Christians released a new album in May and have also made their top selling Colour album available again. In town on Friday 12th October, they're still fronted by Garry Christian, who apparently sounds and looks as good as ever!
The Manfred's 50th Anniversary Tour on Saturday October 20th includes two of the original Manfred Mann line up, Paul Jones and Mike d'Abo. So if you fancy a spot of Doo Wah Diddying, this is the night for it!
November finds 60s legend, Marty Wilde, on stage on Friday 9th November, together with other 'dreamboats' Eden Kane and John Leyton, backed by the Wild Cats for a Rock'n'Roll Party.
Complete the weekend in the company of the wonderful Stylistics, still going strong. The sound of Philadelphia was strong in the early seventies and they won a Grammy to prove it. Catch the Chatham Soul Train on Remembrance Sunday, the 11th.
Finally, recognised as the number one Pink Floyd tribute act, Think Floyd, bring to a close a wonderfully varied line up of music on Friday 23rd November. Their live repertoire includes both Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall.
