Has anyone been able to access the Police Crime Site yet? http://tinyurl.com/4vm9wmg is currently 'not responding' on my desktop ... I can't even get rid of the 'not responding' box, which is annoying. Is anyone desperate to know how their street fares - or would you rather not know?

Hi Jaye... It's working at the moment although it is a little slow now and then.. couple of screenshots.... http://tinyurl.com/4oqx5xd http://tinyurl.com/4t2flp8 There was a police website up and running before that had most of the information http://tinyurl.com/4pvtwno I think it's just been given an update and better mapping.

ME3 is the place to live - only one recorded crime there and it was anti-social behaviour and from the look of it, right out in the middle of nowhere! http://tinyurl.com/69cukrw And in Strood, almost half the crimes were antisocial behaviour. Rochester also had a high incidence of anti social behaviour and I bet that was mostly on Friday nights.

I can't access it again! But I might take your word for it and move to ME3!! Just one crime, that's incredible. Re the anti-social figures - are we a lot less tolerant today or is there a section of the community that really are this bad?

Hi.. I went to the meeting last night. Unlike Medway's Licensing manager...!! Nothing changes there.. Seems to be quite a lot of vehicle damage around the Delce area again.. Nothing changes there either.. http://tinyurl.com/6he3nva seems it's one of those low level crimes against the council tax payer that we have to suffer.. while at Gun Wharf they have all the protection they ask for and a secure car park too now they've put up the barrier to keep the s*** (us) out of THEIR car park... Surely there must be some money or funding in a pot either local government, community or Police.. Maybe even insurance companies to fund a Mobile or Portable CCTV system to monitor and help put a stop to this. Electronics, cameras and applications / software has come a long way over the last couple of years and it's not too expensive now. I reckon £300 - £350 for a waterproof outdoor portable good quality 720p or even 1020 HD video system. It wouldn't have to monitored but just viewed at times of reports and evidence gathered. Seems simple I can't see why they can't fund it.

hi, does anyone know if nags head lane and hawkwood close are hot spots for crime? looking at that web link it seems theres alot around that area. this due to the pub? or possibly the walk throughs that lead down onto the main road? anyone heard about this part of town? i currently rent in Five bells lane (1min away) and thought about purchasing in this exact area. i wasnt expecting stats like this in what looks like a nice/quiet part of rochester. thanks

To be honest, when I (finally) took a look, the whole area was just coloured orange for 'average'! I would imagine if it's near a pub, there'll likely be more instances of anti-social behaviour but I'll see if I can access it again how I did before, for the particular area :) Hopefully, in the meantime, residents around there can come to your rescue with definitive advice!

Just checked again - http://tinyurl.com/5s59prl - the overwhelming figure is anti social behaviour! But that's covering a big area there, the still don't seem to have quite got to grips with different post code areas!

And via Twitter: @pipdrums said: 18 "crimes" right on top of Nags head lane. Hope that helps!

Hi Jaye.. Most of the crime seems to be in Hawkwood Close... Looking on Google maps it's a culd-de-sac of sorts And I'm guessing here that the "Other Crime" maybe something to do with the areas "Other Problems" or the "oldest trade" so to speak.. I have to say lately the policing of the areas night time activities seems to have cleaned up the area and the Safe Exit Scheme appears to be working. http://tinyurl.com/4caet3g

Hi jdmgts123 If you are seriously looking to buy here or even worried about the area then contact your local PCSO's.. There's always meetings arranged and even home visits if you need reassurance. The Medway PCSO's are very helpful and knowledgeable and although their powers are restricted they can often help with most problems. Just look up the Get Involved link on your local police page. http://tinyurl.com/65l3nr3
