A Rochester family burgled while at a funeral has offered a £10,000 reward
Tracey Taylor, of Frindsbury Road in Rochester, was at the funeral of a family friend on July 30 when the break-in happened.
Her family returned from the service to discover their home had been broken into and a safe containing money and jewellery had been taken.
Miss Taylor said: "We were attending the funeral of a family friend, a young man taken from his family too young. To add to that terrible day, we returned to find our home had been broken into and our personal belongings gone.
"The jewellery has considerable emotional value and we are devastated. We want those responsible to face justice, more importantly we don't want another family to go through this."
The reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible is being put forward by the family and not Kent Police.
Anyone who can assist the investigation into the burglary should contact Kent Police on 101 quoting XY/22987.
Alternatively contact Kent Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
