Gillingham FC have unveiled Martin Allen, 46, as their new manager.

Martin Allen has been charged with trying to gain promotion for the Gills.
The former West Ham midfielder and England Under 21 international , known as Mad Dog, was named in a press conference this afternoon and has signed a two year deal.
Allen has had a chequered managerial career since 2003, although he saved Barnet from relegation last season, taking over for the final three games.
However, it's reported that the new manager will not have a complete free reign when it comes to the transfer market, although Chairman Paul Scally is said to be delighted with the appointment.
Following yesterday's revelations about unpaid bills, Mr. Scally is believed to be in discussion today with Medway Council to resolve the situation.
An exclusive interview has been posted on the Gills website. You will need to log in or subscribe to view.
