Hi Jaye.. "The court heard Basi applied for a remortgage of £504,519 in **May 2008**" This would have been at the time certain Mortgage Brokers were heavily into this "Form Filling on Behalf of Applicants" with self certification mortgages. This happened to someone sitting not very far from my keyboard.... He was actively encouraged to apply for a mortgage larger than his income could support by the broker. At the end of the telephone conversation he requested a copy of the telephone conversation (telephone conversations are monitored and recorded as part of training etc etc at the start of the call) but was told this call was not being monitored....!! Nut
