The Medway Culture & Design Awards – People’s Choice

The short list for the Culture and Design Awards People’s Choice award has been published and there are ten for you to choose from:

The Chatham World Heritage Partnership promotes understanding of Chatham’s heritage and environment.

Diggerland gives thousands of visitors the chance to drive and ride on diggers and dumper trucks, for fun!

Dizzy O’Dare Presents is the production team behind From The Inky Deep at the Fuse Festival, and the Tiny Travelling Tightwire Show. They have taught circus skills to hundreds of children.

Fiona Watt, freelance scenographer and award winning theatre designer, produced the I Am The City project at Chatham Historic Dockyard.

Icon Theatre is the resident company at The Brook Theatre and has delivered six performing arts projects for our diverse community as well as establishing a creative industries pathway for young people.

Moogie Wonderland is a not-for-profit arts organisation, holding exhibitions and monthly arts and music events.

The Rochester Art Gallery and Craft Case make quality art accessible to the community.

Shipwrights Avenue Residents Group, along with mhs homes, London & Quadrant Housing, council and police, united to improve their local space with trees and play areas, to tackle anti-social behaviour.

Sparky Champion – one of the 17 national puppet champions created to celebrate the cultural Olympiad, is the Medway champion under the Imagination Our Nation project.

Under Siege is the showcase for Medway’s young, emerging musical talent. Talented teens perform at the summer Rochester Castle Concerts, following the headline acts.
