Play Touch Rugby at Medway RFC

Touch Rugby is an almost non-contact sport, where you "tackle" the ball carrier by lightly touching them. It's played by two teams with 6 players per side on the pitch with up to 6 more replacements who can come on at any time as "rolling" substitutes (so no-one has to get too tired!).

Touch me there and I'll scream!
At Medway RFC they have just started their league programme. They play every Wednesday evening at Priestfields, Rochester, from 7pm to about 9:30pm throughout the summer and early autumn, and regularly get 80 players or more. It's family friendly and of course the clubhouse is open for refreshment afterwards.
Everyone is welcome to play from age 13 to 99, male or female, novice or expert. If you're in a "social" team every try you score against the "pro" teams counts double! Come along and give it a try!

ReportBest bet is to email touchrugby@mrfc.net - see if you can come and have a go and see if you like it before you sign up.
Regards,
Alan

ReportSounds great fun - do you have to sign up for the season, or can you just turn up and play occasionally?
