The Medway First XV continued their winning start to the season with a 17 - 11 victory over Folkestone on Saturday. It was a tight match in which both sides tried to play expansive rugby but was punctuated by handling errors.

Medway led 10 - 6 at half-time thanks to a fine try by Roger Rhynheart following good teamwork by Medway.
Folkestone took a 10 - 11 lead in the second half after their wing scored in the corner, and it took a try by Medway skipper Simon Green in the last five minutes to secure victory for the home side and maintain fourth spot in London South-East Division 3.
