Good Intent
Walk in a stranger, leave a friend ...
Or something along those lines, that's what it says, and it's true. I can't think of a better way to have spent a sunny Saturday afternoon, than in the beer garden listening to the acoustic music festival, Festival of Two Cities, hosted by Loose Change Theory here today. Big gruff men with sweet lilting voices let you competely drift away and spill your drink all over yourself, or maybe it was laughing at Hotel Torremolinas! (You had to be there!) Well done to everyone concerned; I look forward to my next visit :)

Good Intent
This is a good name for this pub, as it's a well meaning ray of light in a pretty dodgy area. The landlord and lady are friendly, and the beer is clean and well kept. The there's a pool table and the prices are good. It tends to bring in the nicer locals because of it's atmosphere, so you get a nice feeling of welcome when you walk in. They've done a lot with this pub, when it could so easily have been awful. Well done.
