FIVE more people in Medway have been arrested as a police crackdown on burglary and vehicle crime continues.
Officers arrested a 21-year-old from Strood on suspicion of burglary on Friday. He has been bailed until 17 May.
A day later, police arrested Arron Henty, 22, from Chattenden for being drunk and disorderly in public.
Henty has been charged with the offence, as well as theft by finding and possession of an offensive weapon. He is due to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court next week.
Martin Balog, 18, of Swayers Court, Chatham, was arrested on Sunday and charged with two counts of theft from a motor vehicle. He appeared in front of magistrates yesterday and was jailed for 150 days.
On Sunday, police swooped at an address in Chattenden and arrested a 30-year-old woman and an 34-year-old man for possession with intent to supply cannabis.
Kent Police are carrying out the arrests as part of Operation Castle - a three-month long crackdown aiming to reduce burglaries and vehicle thefts across the county.
