Great news – Rochester and Medway are already on the rollout plan for BT Infinity!

The superfast fibre optic broadband is being rolled out across the UK over the next five years and the race to infinity gives you the chance to fast track Rochester!

If we’re one of the five areas with the largest percentage of votes by December 31st, we win the chance to bring the services to us sooner, plus also win £5000 worth of computer equipment for a local community project!

Imagine the positive impact this superfast service will have - social networking, gaming, up and down loading – with 250,000 people in Medway,  and Rochester third in the UK digital cities, we can do this! Visit the BT Infinity site and Vote Now! Enter your details, then forward it on to your friends on Facebook and Twitter! Come On!

Oh! I think I need to ask the local people for some smilies, particularly the PalmFace one *Doh*

I think Jaye and healthyeater have made the same mistake I made at first - they've closed the box without continuing onto the next step, thinking they've voted. Try it again and you'll find you do need to enter your details to continue on to the vote.

Funny, I had to enter my house number to register my vote...

I think that improved national internet connectivity should not be in the sole custody of one company, which will use it (obviously) for self-promotion to the detriment of other providers.

Sorry Jaye, meant to put a definition in: Buyer Beware!

I only put my post code in too - will the only people affected be the ones who signed up for the email alerts? (The same ones whose email addresses inadvertently got leaked?) Has anyone found their email address on an all-users email from BT? And does anyone know any Latin? ;)

How do they do that then? I just voted and all I put in was my postcode, nothing else. And anyway, of course they're going to try and flog you broadband, the faster one presumably.
