How long has it taken you to get home today?

Four hours!!!!! Four bloomin' hours - for a trip that should only take 10 minutes normally, or half an hour at most if unusually heavy! What's that all about?
-
Rochester Castle and Cathedral from Dock Road
-
Approximately one hour earlier ..
-
Approximately one hour later ...
I heard one lady on the phone to Andy at KMFM - at 4.45pm, she'd only moved down one floor of the Pentagon car park! She paid for her ticket at 2pm!
I wouldn't mind (I do, obviously) but the road wasn't too bad - let's face it, all those idling cars were turning it to slush already. But it seemed to me, the hold up was a man at Chatham Library, who was only letting one car up the hill to the lights at a time - I have no idea why - but it meant traffic it was backed up all the way down the Brook, to the Gala bingo, where the right turners out of the high street were blocking the road, so those of us in the queue coming towards Gala couldn't go anywhere! Grrrrrrr ...
I'm assuming that's what all the tooting was about anyway. At least the kids up in the Pentagon had some fun - pelting the stationary cars with snowballs!
And, ok, I'm moaning - but there was some good to come out of being stuck on Dock Road for two hours - the fairy tale picture of our castle and cathedral above - even the cranes look pretty, covered in white icing!
So what's your horror story of being stuck out in the snow today - and have you any photos to prove it?!
