Medway’s celebration of St George’s Day will be at the Riverside Country Park in Rainham on Saturday 23rd April between 11am and 5pm.

Little knights in shining armour and young damsels in distress have plenty to see and do in six themed zones, where they’ll find Lennie the land train, archery, Punch and Judy, Woody the one man band, an animatronic dragon, a WI tea tent, pirates and a beach, with real sand and deckchairs!

The themed zones are: Medieval; Pirates; Seaside; Village Green; High Street and Swinging Sixties, all paying homage to the traditional view of England’s green and pleasant land.

There is limited parking at the Riverside, at £3 per car, however, there is a FREE park and ride vintage bus operating from the Dockside Outlet Centre, with the first bus at 10.30am and the final returning bus at 5.30pm.
