Have a blast at Halling Cement Works!

Cemex cement works are demolising a 375 foot chimney at Halling next month - and you could be the lucky person to press the 'destruct' button.

Simply text the word 'chimney' leave a space followed by your name and postcode to 87474. The closing date is September 13th and full terms and conditions can be found at www.kentonline.co.uk/terms

KMFM is running the competition, dubbed 'BlowDown' in aid of the Wisdom Hospice, with 58p of the £1 entry charge going direct to the charity.

The BlowDown will take place at 11am on 19th September.

I believe the man with his finger on the button was ex-Cemex worker Dave Dark, unfortunately made redundant last year. Over £150 was raised for Friends of the Wisdom Hospice by the text draw :)

Whoops who was the lucky winner? only half of the 375 foot chimney at Halling fell down I'm glad I didn't have my finger on the button.
