St. Margaret’s Church, St. Margaret’s Street will once more host the Friends of the Parish of Rochester’s Annual Exhibition over the Sweeps Bank Holiday weekend, Saturday 30th April to May 2nd.
-
Friends of the Rochester Parish Annual Exhibition means the tower will be open at St. Margaret's Church.
-
Enjoy the views across the River Medway from St. Margaret's during the Friends of the Parish of Rochester's Annual Exhibition.
There will be displays of photographs, documents, memorabilia, and model railway from local residents, celebrating "this corner of England, a Kentish Miscellany".
The exhibition is open on all three days between 10am – 5pm, with just a recession busting £1 entry fee for adults and accompanied children FREE! Unfortunately, unaccompanied children cannot be admitted to either the exhibition or the tower.
Escape from the bustle of the high street and explore the 15th century tower, where, subject to the weather conditions, you can climb to the top and enjoy the views.
Gifts, homemade cakes and a selection of light refreshments will be available all weekend and you can picnic in the peaceful open green space of the former Churchyard and enjoy the wonderful views of the river.
