Holocaust Memorial Day 2012

This year the Holocaust will be commemorated at Chatham Memorial Synagogue on January 27th with the help of the Youth Parliament and students from local schools, Mid Kent College and the University for the Creative arts. This will include an exhibition of material from contributors that will subsequently be displayed in the Grand Chamber of the Guildhall Museum, Rochester.

The event starts at 6pm (doors open at 5:30 pm) and consists of a service for the eve of the Jewish Sabbath interspersed with readings, prayers and other content by the students based on the national theme. There will be a Kiddush (refreshments including a blessing over wine) after the service.
