Anyone else noticed that the new street sweeper is doing a good job, I was so pleased the other week I rang the council to say so. After a few months being our regular you can really seen where he's been. I saw him digging a blocked drain out too. It's nice to say well done to what is generally a thankless task.

How lovely to give that feedback, the council must have been quite taken aback! Well done you :)

i agree with you about the road sweeper, great job!,just need to get something done about the toilets in rochester now,the ones opposite the corn exchange are truly embarrassing ,and the toilets in the castle are usually filthy and stink to high heaven, what with that and a few portaloos put in when theres the dickens festival and concerts etc.,it must be a right turn off for visitors and tourists, ive heard so many complaints over the years about it.And yet,if you go into the cathedral precinct, the toilets there are usually spotless,i dont know if they employ a cleaner,or perhaps a volunteer, but at least they have some pride!.the toilets in the information centre arent always clean and they stink, which is awful for visitors eating just out side of them, especially when the toilet doors keep opening and closing,is there nothing that can be done about this?.
