The Medway Universtiy boat race took place on Saturday, with the ladies race won by a mixed team from the Greenwich, Kent and Canterbury Christchurch universities based at Chatham Maritime, beating a team from the Medway Towns Rowing Club. The mens race saw the University of Greenwich team beat Canterbury Christ Church and Kent teams.
