This is very cheeky, but I need the help of your very supportive readers. I have been asked by Sami Kidd, wife of motorbike stunt man Eddie Kidd, for help with his London Marathon attempt in support of Children with Leukaemia.
Eddie, critically injured and left severely disabled in a crash in 1996 while attempting a very difficult stunt, has after ten days covered 5 miles out of the 26.2. Eddie is is walking using a specially made frame but progress is very slow. He needs help on and off of the support bus. I need to get there on several occasions and a lift by bike, or car would be amazing. I will need to get there several times over the next few weeks but train fares and parking charges would make it financially impossible to do it on my own.
A lift is needed in the morning and home in the evening. Times can be as flexible as the people kind enough to help.
