Burglar Steven Whiteman from Rochester confessed to another 30 odd burglaries so he could leave prison with a clear conscious, when he was recalled to prison to serve the remainder of a 4 year, 3 month sentence after being arrested again. So why was he out??? I just don't get our sentencing I really don't. I mean, good effort to him if he wants to go straight next time he's out - but he had 49 convictions for dishonesty and 14 for burglary - so how come he was still out again?
