Award winning Gillingham UCA student, Oleta Williams was thrilled to meet the Queen during her visit to the Turner Contemporary, saying: The 19-year-old from Gillingham was very excited to meet the Queen.

Oleta said: "I feel very privileged to meet the Queen today and present my work to her.

"I was feeling excited until she was just a few people away from me and then the nerves kicked in, but she was really nice and asked lots of questions and told me to keep going.

"I was delighted to win the PageTurner competition but I didn't ever think it would lead to meeting the Queen – the project has really motivated me and given me lots of confidence."
