The mess the Medway tories have made with the River Ward by election

Ozzie.... I wish we were the most spied upon.... The Delce Road with it's five Off-Licenses and drink related anti-social problems along with the "child-thugs" that hang around the junction of Delce Rd & Rochester Ave is not covered by one single CCTV camera. This part of Rochester has for a long time suffered with drink related anti-social problems and the council negligently failed to include Delce Rd in the last extension of the alcohol protection zone. Just last night I witnessed a Taxi being attacked with a large lump of granite which shattered the rear side window of the vehicle. Luckily there were no passengers in the vehicle and nobody injured although I guess from the damage to the vehicle the driver has lost his weeks wages. Looking around the area of the attack there were several large fist sized pieces of granite in the road suggesting this wasn't the first vehicle to be targeted. Had there been passengers in the taxi it could possibly have resulted in a serious head wound.

total agreement on this from me and Medway English Democrats we will be fighting this by election and intend to bring the disreputable council who cuts are hitting the young people,disabled and senior citizens most of all, Medway tories should be made tp pay the cost of re-running this by election.

This is the second by-election in the ward and yet we have had no apology from the Medway Conservatives. We have not even had a candidate introduced!

Instead we have seen vicious personal attacks on our Police whilst residents in the ward are blighted by anti-social behaviour including kerb-crawling on New Road.

This election will cost £11,500 at a time when Medway Tories are firing staff, slashing free swimming, cutting health advisory services, cutting after-school care and teaching assistants. They have even cut the building of new play parks for the under 11s.

Meanwhile, the Tories have also doubled the number of CCTV cars and the national party is threatening to cut bus passes for the elderly. They will increase VAT to 20% which will harm small business on Rochester Highstreet.

According to Big Brother Watch, Medway residents are the most spied upon in the UK. This despite the fact that we the same blue-rinse parroting of the same lies on civil liberties whilst they spy on your every move. That is, if you can drive around Medway without getting stuck in copious traffic james caused by bodged regeneration or public works.

We are badly led.

Residents are beginning to wake up and smell the coffee. This lot of Conservatives are useless, inept, vacuous, pious,and quite frankly insufferably arrogant. Time for a change.
