Versatile and welcoming

Well kown for all manner of events, from black tie balls to Victorian costume displays, the Corn Exchange today welcomed everyone to the Dickens events held here with plenty of tea and cake on hand and a place to rest up awhile! A lovely respite from the rain hit festival in the latter part of the day, I'm eternally grateful for the lemon meringue pie before I set off again (galleries will follow over the next few days) and the mid morning doughnut! Happy, helpful staff on hand and an excellent venue for Dizzy O'Dare and Gerald Dickens tales.
