One amazing year of sport; one great way to take part and raise money for projects both at home and abroad.

The Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile will be held on Sunday 25th March and there are flagships miles in major cities around the country. However, you don't need to travel too far to join one, as there are three fairly near to us - but the one in Medway looks like it is full.

The East Malling Partnership Mile

Presented by The Beat Project and The St James Centre Community Hub

The St. James Centre,

The Gravesham Mile

The River Front ,

Gravesend , DA12 2BS

Prices are the same whichever mile you enter: £6 adult; £3 child and £15 per family and this covers the cost of staging the event. Sponsorship forms are available for you to use to raise funds for causes such as these here - African villages in need of clean water or support for Alzheimer sufferers.

Millions of pounds have been raised by Comic/Sport Relief by thousands of amazing people, who've put aside their own needs to make a difference to those less fortunate. For those who can't take part in an event, there is a donate button on the web site - or you could buy the official Sport Relief single by JLS *screams* Oh, come on, they are cute!

Do let us know if you take part and how much you raise - and don't forget to take some pictures!
