Crowds will gather in commemoration of Holocaust Memorial Day at Joseph Williamson's Mathematical School on Sunday (27 January) at 11am.
A selection of readings, poetry, drama and music will be performed by students from local schools and Mid Kent College.
The free event at the Maidstone Road school, organised by Chatham Memorial Synagogue and other Medway partners, is open to anyone who wishes to attend.
Medway Council leader, Cllr Rodney Chambers, said: "In remembering the Holocaust we make a pledge that the victims will never be forgotten, and that the causes and effects of all such atrocities will be understood by our future generations.
"We are pleased to be once again involving younger people as well as several local organisations in marking this most important day."
The annual Holocaust Memorial Day serves as an opportunity for people to remember Holocaust victims and other genocides since, and to challenge hatred and persecution in the UK today.
