A mystery saviour rescued a woman from the train track at Rochester on Wednesday, minutes before a train was due in.

The woman, believed to be in her 30s but as yet un-named, had, according to witnesses, fallen onto the track at around 10.30am. She suffered scratches to her arms and a head injury and was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital for treatment, reported a South Eastern Counties Ambulance Service spokesman.

Her guardian angel is unknown - was it you? Come on, don't be shy, it was an lovely, chivalrous act of bravery and you should be recognised for it! Email rochester@thelocalpeople if it was you or you know who our Rochester Mystery Hero is!
