Medway tenants: Find out how welfare reforms will affect you at upcoming information sessions

TENANTS in Medway are being invited to a series of information sessions about how welfare reforms by the government will affect their benefits.

Changes to housing size criteria, council tax benefit, and the benefit cap will come into effect in the coming months - and staff from Medway Council's welfare reform team are holding a series of information sessions.
Staff will offer advice and provide information about the changes, which also include universal credit and personal independence payment; replacing disability living allowance for people of working age.
The free sessions will take place as follows:
Thursday 14 March - 9am to 8pm
Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre
Tuesday 19 March - 12noon to 5pm
Rochester Community Hub
Friday 22 March - 12noon to 5pm
Holy Trinity Church hall, Twydall
Monday 25 March - 12noon to 5pm
Gillingham Library
Wednesday 27 March - 12noon to 5pm
Strood Library
