Holcombe and Blue Bell Hill Cricket Club look ahead to next season.

The inaugural presentation night for the newly formed Holcombe and Blue Bell Hill Cricket Club took place at Holcombe Park, Rochester recently.

Joint Chairmen, John Underwood (BBH) and Colin Dix (Holcombe) were thrilled with the turn out for the event, as it cemented a fine 2011 season for the two clubs, who merged at the end of last year.

With a strong colts section supporting the seniors for Blue Bell Hill, and Holcombe being more focused on the senior teams, both committees met and found that their outlooks on playing cricket were very similar and that a merge would therefore be beneficial to both clubs. Solid league seasons from all sides this year mean they're very much looking forward to building on that success next year.
