More than 1000 people have already vowed to improve their health, as part of A Better Medway's campaign.
Residents, and Gillingham footballers, have made promises including exercising more, eating less takeaways and giving up smoking.
Pledges can be made in person at a high street event, or by post using the official pledge entry form, available at GP surgeries, pharmacies, libraries or community hubs. Pledges can also be made online here.
Those making a pledge will receive a voucher to get a free swim at any council pool in the Medway Towns.
They will also be entered into a free prize draw to win a range of prizes including an iPad 3, Gillingham FC signed football and family trip to Diggerland.
Additional prizes have also been added – free gym passes, tickets to Fun Drum children's indoor play area and a family trip to The Historic Dockyard in Chatham.
Pledges can be made at one of the following events:
Rochester High Street – Thursday, 10 January
Strood Market – Tuesday, 15 January
Chatham High Street – Thursday, 24 January
Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre – Thursday, 31 January
