'The End of Mr Y' author Scarlett Thomas to hold International Women's Day talk in Rochester

THE End of Mr Y author Scarlett Thomas is due to hold a talk marking International Women's Day in Medway next month.

The University of Kent creative writing lecturer will talk about her career and sign books at Rochester Community Hub on Friday 8 March at 7.30pm.
Ms Thomas, whose published works include 'Monkeys with Typewriters', 'Bright Young Things' and 'PopCo', is known for her witty writing style.
The free talk is one of many events taking place around the world to mark International Women's Day (IWD), which marks the economic, political and social achievements of women.
