Email Boris Johnson and fight his estuary airport plans!

A new website has been set up by Medway Council, Kent County Council and the RSPB, enabling North Kent residents to email Boris Johnson directly about his plans for Boris Island.

Stop The Estuary Airport has a pre-filled email for you to sign your name to, advising Boris of your displeasure at his continued suggestions and support of plans for a hub airport in North Kent. The email will also copy in Justine Green, Secretary of State for Transport.

According to Rodney Chambers, leader of Medway Council, other airports already have the infrastructure necessary for expansion, with Manston Airport on the Kent coast having the longest runway in Europe and being close to the high speed rail link to London, and Birmingham is near the proposed site for second high speed train and aims to double capacity.
