A ROCHESTER woman who was nearly three times over the drink-drive limit has been banned from driving for four years.

Diane Rayner, who lives in the High Street, was convicted of drink-driving at Medway Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 15 January.

Police stopped 47-year-old Rayner in her Peugeot 106 in Frindsbury Hill on 24 September last year.

She gave a blood test of 216 ml of alcohol in 100 ml of blood - the legal limit is 80 ml.

Magistrates banned Rayner from driving for 48 months and ordered her to pay £85 costs, as well as a £60 victim surcharge.
